Tim Nicholls' time is up, says battling LNP MP

TIM Nicholls will find it tough to keep stay on as leader of the Liberal National Party in Queensland, one of his colleagues says.

"Tim's had his run in the top job. I think he's going to find it very, very tough to hang onto that job," Dale Last, who is battling to retain the seat of Burdekin for the LNP, has told ABC radio.

Queensland still doesn't have a government nine days after the election, but Labor is expected to clinch the 47 seats it needs to form majority government, while the LNP will be lucky to get 40.
