Suspected jellyfish sting

A BOY was stung by a jellyfish at Airlie Beach this morning.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said ambulance officers were called to treat a person in Shingley Drive at 9.28am.

The seven-year-old was taken to Proserpine Hospital by ambulance shortly before 10am.

He was treated and later discharged.
