Two injured as fire tears through hinterland home
TWO people were injured in a devastating house fire in the Sunshine Coast hinterland last night.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said firefighters were called to the Corks Pocket Rd home at Reesville, near Maleny, about 6.50pm and found it fully engulfed with flames.
She said part of the roof collapsed as a result of the fire.

A man and a woman, both in their 20s, were taken to Maleny Hospital.
The man suffered minor burns to his hands and both patients were in stable conditions, a Queensland Ambulance Service representative said.
A police spokeswoman said the blaze was not being treated as suspicious.
More to come.
